Special Education Teacher | Red Oak, Texas

Make a meaningful impact supporting high school students by providing tailored educational instruction. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to teach and inspire learners at the secondary level, focusing on both high school special education needs and math instruction.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Texas Special Education Teacher certification (SPED license/certification) required
• Must hold certification in secondary math
• Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement individualized instructional strategies for students with diverse needs within the high school setting
• Develop lesson plans targeting both special education requirements and secondary math curriculum
• Work closely with students to assess progress, adapting approaches as needed to foster understanding and success
• Coordinate with support staff, counselors, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
• Monitor and document student achievement and behavior, maintaining compliance with applicable IEP goals and state standards
