Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
• Active state Special Education Teacher certification.
• Proven experience in teaching ELA at the elementary (preferably 3rd–6th grade) level.
• Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction.
• Ability to develop and implement strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging ELA lessons that accommodate both group and individual learning differences.
• Develop and implement IEPs, track student progress, and adjust instruction to meet goals.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student growth.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development.
