Desired Qualifications & Experience:
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Thorough understanding of Elementary ELA curriculum and instruction
• Demonstrated success working with diverse learners in grades 3-6
• Strong communication skills for partnering with families, specialists, and school staff
• Experience developing and adapting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to create a supportive, engaging classroom environment
• Compassion, patience, and resourcefulness when addressing student needs
• Organizational and documentation skills for progress monitoring
Role Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver effective ELA lessons aligned with IEP objectives
• Modify curriculum materials to ensure accessibility and comprehension
• Track, assess, and document student growth and progress

• Support students during classroom transitions and activities
