Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Oregon credentials as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with K-12 caseloads, in either self-contained or resource settings
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to fulfill all responsibilities and duties of a Special Education Teacher
• Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to fostering student growth and success
• Adaptability and patience in diverse instructional settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction tailored to meet each student's unique learning needs
• Develop, write, and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to promote student inclusion and achievement
• Create a positive, supportive classroom environment fostering growth, respect, and independence
• Track and report student progress toward goals, adjusting instruction strategies as needed
• Engage in frequent, open communication with families and caregivers
• Uphold school and district policies and compliance standards
