Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Oregon
• Experience working with K-12 students in self-contained and/or resource classrooms
• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a growth mindset and cultivating a positive learning environment
• Strong work ethic and collaborative approach to working with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt to varied instructional needs and maintain flexibility in dynamic settings
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to students’ individual needs
• Design and deliver effective lesson plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service staff
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and document student progress
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and engaging classroom culture
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Implement behavioral and academic interventions to promote student growth
