- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting working directly with students with disabilities

Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the individualized needs and goals of students receiving special education services
- Manage case files and maintain detailed, timely documentation per state and federal guidelines
- Write and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), closely tracking student progress
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and design effective intervention strategies
- Provide guidance and support to classroom staff and paraprofessionals, ensuring accommodations and modifications are in place
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and classroom activities
