Special Education Teacher in Renton, WA

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct instruction to students with varying needs in a resource setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers to implement accommodations and modifications
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates with families
• Utilize evidence-based instructional practices tailored to individual students
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and student support activities

Position Details:

• Contract opportunity for the full 2026/2027 school year
• Four-day work week (Monday-Thursday)
• Approximately 30 hours per week
