• One position focuses on behavioral support for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders (five students, not fully self-contained, at the intermediate school level). Experience managing behavioral caseloads in these grades is required.
• Another role centers on life skills instruction for Kindergarten through 2nd grade (four students) at the elementary level. A strong background in life skills education is essential.
• A unique third position, beginning in November, involves working with high school students (five students) with life skills needs; this role may continue through the end of the school year. Candidates able to handle both behavioral and life skills populations may be considered for multiple assignments in succession.

Ideal skills and experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials (Texas certification strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with life skills and/or behavioral caseloads in K-12 settings
• Ability to adapt instruction for different age groups and functional levels
