Elementary Resource Special Education Teaching Opening

We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to support students in a resource setting for a short-term assignment from January through March 2026. This role focuses on providing targeted academic and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs while collaborating closely with general education teachers and school support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide small-group and individual instruction in a resource classroom setting

• Implement IEP goals and accommodations aligned with each student’s needs

• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support diverse learners

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed

• Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching certification (state-appropriate)

• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a resource or cross-categorical setting preferred

• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented school environment

Schedule:

• Full-time, onsite during the assignment period
