An elementary school is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide resource-level instruction during a temporary assignment from January through March 2026. The teacher will support students with varying learning needs by delivering specialized instruction aligned to IEPs and supporting inclusion within the general education environment.
Primary Duties:

Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students in a pull-out and/or push-in resource model

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with IEP goals and state standards

Provide academic and behavioral interventions tailored to individual student needs

Track and report student progress in compliance with special education guidelines

Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and service providers

Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team planning sessions

Foster a structured, encouraging learning environment that promotes student growth
Requirements:

Valid Special Education teaching license (state-specific)

Elementary resource or cross-categorical experience preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt instruction as needed
