Step into a meaningful role supporting middle and high school learners as a Special Education Teacher, beginning September 1, 2026, and concluding June 25, 2027. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to co-teach and provide targeted resource support in English Language Arts for students primarily in 7th and 9th grades. With a manageable caseload of 15 students, you'll have the chance to deliver personalized guidance, while collaborating closely with the wider educational team.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New York State Educator License with Special Education Endorsement
- At least two years of recent teaching experience preferred
- Proficiency in writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), as well as experience working within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with ClearTrack for IEP and Progress Monitoring and the Woodcock-Johnson evaluation tools (Riverside Insights) is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage both resource room and co-teaching responsibilities for grades 7-12
Key Responsibilities:
