Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification appropriate for K-12 settings
• Experience working with students with various learning exceptionalities, either in intensive or resource settings
• Strong ability to adapt lessons, manage IEPs, and liaise effectively with families, staff, and administration
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Previous experience in a school-based or similar educational environment preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students, ensuring alignment with educational standards and goals
• Provide specialized instructional support—either intensive or supplemental resource services—depending on your campus placement
• Employ diverse teaching strategies and technologies to reach students with distinct needs
• Maintain detailed records of progress, collaborate on multidisciplinary teams, and attend relevant meetings
