Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Special Education or related field
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of an educational team
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities
• Knowledge of current teaching strategies, IEP development, and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to support varied learning styles and abilities
• Monitor student progress, assess academic and behavioral needs, and update IEPs as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student growth and independence
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and related service providers to ensure holistic student support
