This full-time, contract role is available for the 2026-2027 school year, offering 40 hours per week. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold a valid Special Education teaching credential applicable in South Carolina
  • Experience working with moderate to severe elementary caseloads preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with fellow educators, families, and support staff
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based instruction to students with diverse learning abilities
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to promote engagement and success for every learner
  • Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state regulations
  • Utilize progress monitoring tools and assessments to track student growth
  • Foster a safe, empowering classroom environment that values each child’s strengths and potential
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to coordinate comprehensive support
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families regarding progress and strategies
