Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to high school students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure student success
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), track progress, and maintain accurate records
• Adapt curriculum materials to meet each student’s learning level and requirements
• Communicate regularly with families, sharing student progress and strategies for support
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with resource or secondary-level students
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and dedication to helping all students thrive

This contract offers a pay range of $88.75 to $91.00 per hour for travel professionals and includes relocation support, with a director available to discuss local living options in detail.
