Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with varying abilities and be dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a key role in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.

Details:
• Full Time - 37.5hours/week
• 2026 - 2027 School Year
• K - 5th grade Moderate - Severe caseload
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs
• Use differentiated instruction techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various subjects
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the success of each student
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
Qualifications:
• Valid SC Special Education Teaching Credential
• Bachelor's in special education or related topic
• Knowledgeable, flexible, big relationships builders, good contact with parents to keep informed and build relationships.
• Knowledge of and experience with various teaching strategies and accommodations
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
