This opportunity includes several available positions, with assignments spanning a variety of caseloads including Middle School Resource, Middle School Behavior Program, K-8 Behavior Program, and Elementary Adaptive Program. Your expertise and commitment will help foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Department of Education (DOE) Standard K-12 Certification
  • Active Arizona fingerprint clearance card
  • Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or similar role, ideally in school settings
  • Ability to adapt instruction to diverse student needs
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Collaborative mindset for effective communication with colleagues, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized instruction tailored to students’ IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to implement individualized education plans
  • Foster a positive, adaptive classroom atmosphere accommodating behavioral and academic needs
  • Track and report student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
  • Maintain detailed records in accordance with school and state requirements
