Five positions are open, each offering unique assignments across elementary and middle school levels—including behavior, resource, and adaptive programs.
Ideal candidates are committed educators with the following qualifications:
- Current Arizona Department of Education Standard K-12 Certification
- Active Arizona fingerprint clearance card
- Experience working with students in behavior, resource, or adaptive special education settings
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
- Willingness to participate in new teacher orientation and ongoing training
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students based on IEPs across diverse programs (behavior, resource, adaptive)
- Develop, implement, and regularly review IEP goals and modifications
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to promote student growth and inclusion
- Create engaging lesson plans and classroom environments that foster academic, behavioral, and social-emotional progress
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school events as required
- Document and monitor progress, adjusting interventions and supports as needed
This on-campus role aligns with the 2026-2027 academic calendar, including both student and teacher days.
