This opportunity includes several available positions, with assignments spanning a variety of caseloads including Middle School Resource, Middle School Behavior Program, K-8 Behavior Program, and Elementary Adaptive Program. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Department of Education (DOE) Standard K-12 Certification
- Active Arizona fingerprint clearance card
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or similar role, ideally in school settings
- Ability to adapt instruction to diverse student needs
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset for effective communication with colleagues, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized instruction tailored to students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to implement individualized education plans
- Foster a positive, adaptive classroom atmosphere accommodating behavioral and academic needs
- Track and report student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with school and state requirements
