Key Qualifications:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate, with both Special and General Education Endorsements for Pre-K age groups
• Experience or strong interest working with Pre-K children in a special education setting
• Ability to support students with essential daily living skills, including toilet training, diapering, and assisted feeding
• Comfort adapting to a classroom where students may exhibit varying behaviors and require individualized support
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to preschoolers, addressing individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student’s developmental and behavioral goals
• Assist students with daily living tasks as needed, including feeding and hygiene routines
• Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure a holistic educational experience
• Track progress, complete documentation as required, and adapt to students’ evolving needs

The position runs full-time, Monday through Friday, aligning with the school calendar through May 2027. You'll gain experience in an enriching educational community and participate in the profound early development of exceptional children.
