Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid California teaching credential authorizing Special Education instruction
• Experience working with students with moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Enthusiastic collaborator who thrives on teamwork with school staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and positive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges
• Work closely with general education teachers to support classroom inclusion and access
• Monitor student progress, providing targeted instruction and intervention as needed
• Maintain clear and ongoing communication with students, families, and staff to support student development
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to holistic student planning and care
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping and compliance documentation
