Special Education Teacher | Riverside, California

Two contract opportunities are available for experienced Special Education Teachers to provide coverage during maternity leaves, ensuring continuity of high-quality instruction and care for students. Both positions begin in August (exact date TBD). The first assignment runs through October 30, 2026; the second extends through December 18, 2026.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential
• Prior experience teaching in special education settings preferred
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction
• Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to meeting the unique needs of each student

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with related service providers and families
• Utilize data-driven techniques to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Foster a respectful, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
• Partner with general education teachers and support staff to maximize student inclusion and growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school requirements
