Key Requirements:

• Current Michigan Teaching Certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities is preferred
• Strong understanding of creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person instruction tailored to students’ unique needs and strengths
• Develop, review, and adjust IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
• Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain clear and timely communication with parents, staff, and external support services
• Actively contribute to IEP meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
