Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure and teaching certification in Special Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or closely related field
  • Experience working with children who have diverse learning needs and IEP development
  • Familiarity with therapeutic and behavioral interventions
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Adapt curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Work closely with students, families, and related service providers
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
