You’ll be a crucial part of a dedicated team, facilitating academic and behavioral growth in a self-contained program designed for approximately 10–16 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire Teaching License required
  • Experience or strong interest in special education, particularly within mental health or behavioral programs
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and case management
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with families, support staff, and related service providers
  • Ability to foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted special education instruction aligned with individual student plans
  • Manage a caseload of 10–16 students, overseeing academic, behavioral, and emotional goals
  • Conduct student evaluations, generate reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families and team members
  • Support students’ social-emotional development and positive behavioral interventions
  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings

Working hours are 32.5 to 35 hours per week, with school hours scheduled from 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM. This position is ideal for educators who thrive when working with students who need specialized behavioral or mental health support and who excel at case management and collaborative problem-solving.
