You’ll be a crucial part of a dedicated team, facilitating academic and behavioral growth in a self-contained program designed for approximately 10–16 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License required
- Experience or strong interest in special education, particularly within mental health or behavioral programs
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and case management
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with families, support staff, and related service providers
- Ability to foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted special education instruction aligned with individual student plans
- Manage a caseload of 10–16 students, overseeing academic, behavioral, and emotional goals
- Conduct student evaluations, generate reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain ongoing communication with families and team members
- Support students’ social-emotional development and positive behavioral interventions
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings
