Position: Special Education Teacher

Grade Levels: Middle School & High School
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Dates: August 8 – June 21
Position Summary
We are seeking five dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to support middle and high school students. The ideal candidates will be committed to helping students achieve academic and personal success while providing individualized instruction and support in accordance with each student's educational plan.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct special education services to assigned students.
Manage a caseload of students and oversee all aspects of case management.
Prepare and maintain required documentation, including reports and progress monitoring.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
Qualifications
Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific requirements apply).
Experience working with middle and/or high school students is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to effectively manage a caseload while delivering high-quality instructional services.
