Special Education Teacher in Rock River, WY

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state Special Education Teaching certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong understanding of a range of learning disabilities and behavioral challenges
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit varied learning styles
• Previous schools-based experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and interventions to students with disabilities
• Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure student success
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records on student progress and compliance
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student goals and achievements
• Foster a safe and respectful learning atmosphere
• Utilize evidence-based practices and differentiated instructional strategies
