Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Special Education Teacher License (Primary Level)
  • Wilson Reading System Certification (required)
  • Preferred: Experience delivering intensive reading interventions for students with learning disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction to one student (potential for slight caseload increase)
  • Employ Wilson Reading System and other evidence-based methods to enhance literacy
  • Collaborate with a supportive staff and participate in IEP development as needed
  • Monitor progress and communicate growth to the school team and families
  • Adapt strategies to foster student confidence and independence
