Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license or eligibility for certification
• Prior experience teaching or working with high school students on the autism spectrum
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction using evidence-based strategies tailored to students with autism
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Adapt curriculum and lessons to meet diverse learning needs and behavioral plans
• Maintain a supportive, structured classroom environment to promote learning and independence
• Participate in team meetings and communicate progress with families and specialists
• Support students with daily living activities, including occasional toileting duties as needed
• Document student growth, behavioral data, and compliance activities
