Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license or eligibility for certification
- Prior experience teaching or working with high school students on the autism spectrum
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable communication skills

- Team-oriented attitude and a commitment to student-centered instruction
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction using evidence-based strategies tailored to students with autism
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Adapt curriculum and lessons to meet diverse learning needs and behavioral plans
- Maintain a supportive, structured classroom environment to promote learning and independence
- Participate in team meetings and communicate progress with families and specialists
- Support students with daily living activities, including occasional toileting duties as needed
- Document student growth, behavioral data, and compliance activities
