Qualifications & Experience:

• Active credentials as a Special Education Teacher in Arkansas
• Previous experience designing, implementing, and tracking IEPs
• Ability to manage both self-contained and resource classroom settings
• Familiarity with a wide range of special education needs across K-12 populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated work ethic with a growth mindset and a positive, solution-oriented approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt individualized lesson plans based on student IEPs
• Deliver engaging instruction in self-contained or resource classroom environments
• Monitor and document student progress, updating IEPs as necessary
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom for all learners
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-related activities as required
