Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid teaching license with Special Education credentials
• Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in education

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals and district standards
• Adapt curriculum and utilize specialized instructional techniques to meet the varied abilities of students
• Partner with general education teachers to provide support within inclusive classroom settings and resource rooms
• Collect, analyze, and document student progress, making adjustments as needed to optimize learning
• Work closely with families, related service providers, and school staff to ensure a supportive learning community
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and relevant training sessions as required by the district
