A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in a K-12 public school setting located in Roseville, CA. This contract role spans the entire school year (CSY) and offers the chance to support diverse learners across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning needs
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate students with varying disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential/licensure
- Experience teaching special education students in a K-12 setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to create engaging, differentiated instruction that meets IEP goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with students with disabilities
