Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a K-12 school environment
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction and behavioral intervention strategies
• Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct instruction, modifications, and accommodations to support student learning
• Collaborate actively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, service providers, and families
• Track student progress and maintain accurate educational records in accordance with district and legal guidelines
• Create a nurturing, structured, and positive classroom that encourages student growth and participation
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required
