Special Education Teacher - Roseville, California

Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment. Two contract positions are open to support students in Transitional Kindergarten through 4th grade while the current teachers are on extended leave. Both roles provide the chance to collaborate with a committed team and contribute to students’ growth and development.

Positions:

Position 1: TK-1st grade, 7 students
Position 2: 2nd-4th grade, 7 students
Both positions will continue until the current teachers return.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active California moderate to severe Special Education credential is required
• Confidence in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience with elementary-aged students is highly desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored instruction to meet each student’s unique needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
• Work closely with instructional aides, therapists, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies
• Engage in regular communication with parents and multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt lessons for a range of learning styles and abilities

Compensation & Benefits:
