Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential (California certification preferred)
- Experience working with students with mild to moderate or moderate to severe disabilities
- Ability to implement IEPs and differentiate instruction
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience with classroom behavior management strategies
- Positive attitude and commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct instruction and academic support in both group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor and document student progress; prepare progress reports and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school-wide initiatives
