Key Qualifications:

  • Current GaPSC Teaching Educator Certificate with Special Education General Curriculum endorsement required
  • Experience or strong interest in working within inclusion settings
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators, therapists, and support staff
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction to approximately 8-9 students within an inclusion classroom
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with two established, collaborative teaching teams
  • Adapt instructional materials and offer accommodations to meet diverse learning needs
  • Collect data and track progress on student goals
  • Engage in regular communication with families, staff, and support professionals
  • Participate in pre- and post-planning days as required for the academic calendar
