Special Education Teacher | Round O, South Carolina

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (SC or eligible if working toward reciprocity)
• Experience with K-6th grade students preferred
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for empowering students with diverse learning needs

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction in resource, push-in, and pull-out environments
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Track academic and behavioral progress, adapting strategies to best support each student
• Maintain clear communication with parents, teachers, and administration
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth
