Key Requirements:

• Valid Arkansas credentials as a Special Education Teacher
• Prior experience managing K-12 caseloads
• Familiarity with self-contained and resource classroom environments
• Proficient in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Ability to perform all responsibilities related to Special Education, including modified instruction, progress monitoring, and collaborating with support staff
• Strong work ethic coupled with a growth mindset and a positive, collaborative attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions in accordance with student IEPs
• Manage caseloads across various grade levels and adapt to the unique needs of each student
• Complete timely progress tracking and maintain accurate documentation
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom climate that encourages student engagement and growth
• Work closely with general education staff, therapists, and families to foster a team approach
• Attend IEP meetings and actively participate in developing and revising student plans
