What We’re Looking For:

• Active Arkansas Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Background working in self-contained and/or resource classroom settings
• Ability to manage diverse K-12 caseloads
• Deep understanding of individualized instruction and special education best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a growth mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with varying needs in compliance with approved IEPs
• Adapt and differentiate materials to meet individual learning goals
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to inform instructional planning
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate data and timely completion of required documentation
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Engage positively with families to support each student’s educational goals
