• Active Arkansas Special Education Teacher credentials
• Experience working with IEPs and developing individualized plans
• Versatility to work across K–12 grade levels
• Ability to support students in self-contained, inclusion, resource, and co-teaching settings
• Willingness to collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Solid understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
• Strong work ethic and commitment to student success
• Positive attitude and a growth mindset

Daily responsibilities in this role:

• Design, implement, and assess individualized instruction and behavioral interventions
• Write, manage, and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet a variety of learning needs
• Track and report student progress, collaborating closely with other staff and parents
• Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and faculty collaboration
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records
