Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current state teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field; advanced degrees welcomed
• Previous experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction tailored to students’ IEPs
• Assess student abilities and develop targeted learning goals in collaboration with educational teams and families
• Modify curriculum content to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Facilitate a respectful and encouraging atmosphere for students to reach their potential
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records as required
• Partner with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and families to support student success
