Currently, there are two full-time onsite openings:

  • One position for a K-1 self-contained classroom
  • One position for a grades 2-4 FLS (Functional Life Skills) classroom

Both roles offer a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $40 to $47, commensurate with your education and experience.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active ME 282 Special Education license (required)
  • Experience working with elementary age students in a special education setting
  • Ability to create engaging, inclusive, and supportive environments for all learners

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students aligned with IEP goals
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with general educators, aides, therapists, and families
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
