Special Ed Teacher | Sacramento, California

This permanent role offers an opportunity to support middle school students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The position involves working with a middle school caseload, providing essential educational support in an in-person setting from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Mild/Moderate Special Education credential
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and disability accommodations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Location:

• Sacramento, CA (in-person attendance required)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success
• Track student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all special education regulations
