Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure or credential in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with diverse student populations and various disabilities
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adaptable and compassionate approach to meeting student needs
• Previous school-based special education experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Create engaging, differentiated lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs
• Administer and interpret assessments to inform instruction and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate student records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Stay current with best practices in special education through ongoing development
• Advocate for student needs within the school community
