School-Based Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) | 20262027 School Year

Soliant Education is seeking dedicated Sign Language Interpreters (SLIs) for multiple K–12 openings in Lodi, California. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community and help students succeed by providing essential communication access throughout the school day.

Position Details:
- 30 hours per week
- K–12 caseloads available
- In-person only
- Competitive weekly pay

Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpreting services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in classroom and school-related settings.
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and related service providers to support student success.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards.
- Participate in team meetings and other school-related activities as needed.

Qualifications:
- Minimum EIPA score of 3.0 required
- Active California educational interpreter credentials, if required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.34 to $53.34. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
