Special Education Teacher (Functional Academics) | 20262027 School Year

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time opportunity serving a 5th–7th grade Functional Academics classroom in Vacaville, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to support students with significant learning needs while working alongside a collaborative and student-focused educational team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction in a functional academics setting for middle school students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Differentiate instruction to address students' academic, social, behavioral, and functional skill development.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state and federal special education requirements.

Qualifications:
- Active California Education Specialist credential in Extensive Support Needs (ESN) or Moderate/Severe Disabilities required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience in a functional academics or moderate/severe special education classroom preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.34 to $53.34. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
