Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Special Education Teacher working with children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This full-time position runs from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You'll be instrumental in developing and delivering individualized instruction to a caseload of 17 students, all while fostering growth and positive outcomes in a collaborative, school-based setting.
Your expertise as a CI (Cognitive Impairment) Teacher will empower young students to achieve their personal and academic goals, working alongside other dedicated professionals and caring staff. Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience teaching or supporting students with cognitive impairments preferred
- Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies for early learners
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams

Your Responsibilities:
