Special Education Teacher in Saginaw, MI

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Special Education Teacher working with children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This full-time position runs from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You'll be instrumental in developing and delivering individualized instruction to a caseload of 17 students, all while fostering growth and positive outcomes in a collaborative, school-based setting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience teaching or supporting students with cognitive impairments preferred
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies for early learners
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams
