Special Education Teacher - Saint Albans, VT

Qualifications and Background:

• Valid licensure or certification in Special Education
• Demonstrated experience with elementary-aged students, preferably in a self-contained setting

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly with paraprofessionals and support staff
• Commitment to individualized instruction and positive behavioral interventions

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized lesson and behavior plans
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture for all students
• Lead and coordinate daily activities in collaboration with paraprofessionals
• Track and report student progress; participate in IEP meetings as necessary
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and respectful learning environment

In this travel contract, competitive compensation is offered between $85 and $90 per hour for qualified travel candidates.
