Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Vermont Special Education Teacher endorsement, or eligibility for Vermont licensure
• Previous experience teaching students with mild to moderate special education needs is highly desired
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom environment
• Passion for supporting students’ growth and independence within the general curriculum

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to diverse learning profiles
