The Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide individualized ELA and Math instruction in a middle school resource room setting. This opportunity focuses on helping students strengthen academic skills while receiving the support outlined in their IEPs.
Position Highlights
Deliver specialized ELA and Math instruction
Provide direct and indirect Special Education services
Develop and implement individualized learning plans
Manage IEP documentation and student progress monitoring
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher
Active Michigan teaching certificate with SM, SE, SA, or SV Special Education endorsement
ELA and Math qualifications as required by the district
Strong knowledge of IDEA, MARSE, and IEP compliance
