The Opportunity
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher who enjoys helping middle school students succeed through targeted academic interventions and individualized instruction in ELA and Mathematics.
Position Highlights
Support students in resource room and inclusion settings
Provide differentiated instruction and academic interventions
Develop accommodations and modifications
Participate in IEP meetings and student evaluations
Monitor academic progress and maintain required documentation
Candidate Qualifications
Michigan teaching certification with SM, SE, SA, or SV endorsement
ELA and Math qualifications as specified by the district
Experience with resource room instruction preferred
Strong classroom management and case management skills
