Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (or reciprocity eligibility)
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing IEPs
• Strong understanding of IDEA, special education compliance, and case management
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Experience:

• Background in ASD, Resource, Self-Contained, Setting III/IV, or assessment positions
• Familiarity with PBIS, MTSS, FBAs, and BIPs
• Experience with elementary and/or secondary education populations
• Advanced skills in behavior management and crisis intervention

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments and participate in eligibility decisions
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
• Deliver specially designed instruction and track student progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education guidelines
