Multiple full-time openings are available across district locations through the end of the 2026/2027 school year. Opportunities include roles as Special Education Assessment Teachers, Setting III/IV (Restore Program) specialists, and ASD Center-Based Elementary Teachers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field
- Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (or reciprocity eligibility)
- Experience developing, implementing, and managing IEPs
- Strong understanding of IDEA, special education compliance, and case management
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Experience:
- Background in ASD, Resource, Self-Contained, Setting III/IV, or assessment positions
- Familiarity with PBIS, MTSS, FBAs, and BIPs
- Experience with elementary and/or secondary education populations
- Advanced skills in behavior management and crisis intervention
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and participate in eligibility decisions
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Deliver specially designed instruction and track student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education guidelines
- Champion inclusive and supportive learning environments
