As a travel Special Education Teacher, you’ll gain exposure to diverse programs across multiple K-12 sites for the 2026/2027 school year. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Current Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for licensure by reciprocity
  • Experience developing and managing IEPs
  • Strong understanding of IDEA and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Preferred: Licensure or experience in ABS, ASD, EBD, DD, or LD

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and related service providers
  • Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral supports
  • Manage ongoing progress monitoring and documentation
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal special education policies
