With a caseload of just 5-7 students, you’ll be able to offer focused interventions that truly impact each child’s growth and development.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
  • Comfortable working with elementary-aged children, specifically grades K-2
  • Strong ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Team-oriented approach; ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop, monitor, and update student IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Conduct assessments and adapt curriculum to ensure accessibility for all students
  • Communicate regularly with families about student progress and goals
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
