What you’ll bring:

• Current Missouri Special Education teaching credentials
• Experience collaborating in IEP meetings and developing IEPs
• Capacity to thrive in self-contained, inclusion, resource, or co-teaching classrooms
• Ability to perform all general duties required of a Special Education Teacher
• Flexible approach to working with a range of grade levels and educational settings

What you’ll do:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs across various instructional models (self-contained, inclusion, co-teaching, and resource)
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and team members
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction based on data and ongoing observations
• Build positive relationships and foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation ensuring compliance with state and federal special education requirements
